Free to use

FreePDF provides its tools free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use the tools to process your own files, or files you have the right to process, as many times as you like.

Provided “as is”

Our tools are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. While we work hard to make every tool accurate and reliable, we cannot guarantee that results will be perfect for every possible file. We recommend keeping a copy of your original files and reviewing the output before relying on it for important purposes.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the files you process and for ensuring you have the right to modify them. Because all processing happens on your own device, you retain full control and full ownership of your documents at every step.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreePDF and its creators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the tools — including any loss of data. Always keep backups of important files.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use FreePDF for any unlawful purpose or to process content you do not have the right to handle.

Intellectual property & ownership

The FreePDF name, logo, design, layout, written content, and underlying source code (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) are the intellectual property of their owner and are protected by copyright. Although the code is delivered to your browser so the tools can run on your device, this does not grant you any right to copy, redistribute, resell, re-host, or create a competing service from it. You may not scrape, clone, mirror, or repackage the site or its code, in whole or in part, without prior written permission. Automated copying of the site is prohibited.

You are, of course, completely free to use the tools for your own files as much as you like — these restrictions apply only to copying or reusing the site’s code and brand, not to using the service for its intended purpose.
